Choreography 101: a workshop for aspiring choreographers ages 13-18
September 26 | 3-5 pm | Ages 13-18 | $50
Choreography 101 is a workshop designed for aspiring choreographers ages 13-18. In this workshop, dancers will learn about different kinds of choreography, composition methods, and other elements that support choreography such as music, lighting, and costuming. We will practice choreographic tools such as improvisation to collaborate on a short piece that will be filmed at the end of the workshop. Dancers can expect to walk away with resources that support their journeys as emerging choreographers.
Open Studio
Imagine a co-working space, but at a dance studio! Open studio at Zenith is an opportunity for dancers to utilize our studio space to train, rehearse, choreograph, or simply have fun in the studio outside of their regularly scheduled classes and rehearsals. Dancers are welcome to work independently or invite friends to train with, so long as noise is kept to a minimum and everyone is being spatially mindful of those wishing for a fully independent experience. A staff member will be on site to ensure dancers remain safe and enjoy a positive experience.

Time Slots
Ages 7-12: 5:00-6:00 pm
Ages 13-18: 6:00-7:00 pm
Ages 18 & up: 7:00-8:00 pm
Time slots will remain the same for all open studios offered throughout the season.
Pricing
Each open studio session is $5 per dancer.
Registration for each session will open 1 month in advance.
